The war on Venezuela (the war on drugs) (regime change)

Which country?

Russia added it to their rolls only after we started chasing it. It doesn’t seem to have been a russian ship until then. It seems to have been a VZ ship that sought Russian protection after the chase started. And Russia was eager to help it and receive the oil.

That was based on Cheney. When asked how expensive the Iraq war was going to be, he said ‘Iraq has a lot of oil…’ suggesting we would take oil to pay for the war.

But Bush didn’t take the oil.

Trump is.

How many oil tankers have we collected so far? One?

Only 299 to go and then we can get along.

Oh look! The senate found their spine.

The Senate fired a warning shot at President Donald Trump, voting Thursday to advance a bipartisan resolution to block him from using military force “within or against Venezuela” unless he gets prior approval from Congress.

The vote of 52-47 on the war powers measure came after an unsuccessful plea by Republican leaders to sink it and preserve Trump’s authority, as he threatens a “second wave” of attacks on Venezuela. Trump has declared that the U.S. would “run” the country temporarily after he ordered a military operation last week to capture and extradite leader Nicolás Maduro.

Five Republicans joined all 47 Democrats in voting yes on the motion to advance the resolution to the Senate floor.

And just how is Trump going to do that? Political rhetoric and slogans are for patronizing the ignorant masses … explain yourself in common language that is easily understood and makes sense.

was it on its regular route? Is it never used to bring drugs into the US?

He said the US would be taking VZ oil, both from the tankers and from the oil fields, delivered by VZ and the US would sell the oil on the open market, deposit the funds in US govt. accounts, then disperse the money as they see fit.

Streeeeeeetch…

yes it is. precisely why IMO the WPA should be invoked. Still however, it is a valid legal argument.

No it’s not.

If an intruder breaks into your neighbors house, but might break into yours next, you aren’t allowed to kill him.

Incursion has a definition. A meaning.

He’s halfway to China…and still digging.

Ya I wasn’t, I couldn’t stand ‘W’ my first vote for a president was for Obama I wanted to vote for Ron Paul but he didn’t make it out of the primaries but he drove me in my political journey.

Where not a one size fits all just like the left isn’t. I would seriously consider voting D again if they came out like what senator Obama was talking about (not what he became as president) not what he done but what he talked about while a nominee.

That’s what, not how. Try again.

Quite frankly, you can put this in the same file with “Mexico is going to pay for the wall.” It’s just typical Trump rhetorical blowhardery.

this is not a good deal for VZ because Trump said it would be to buy American goods ie higher priced excepting agricultural. VZ will be getting less for their money at least in the short term until years later when their oil output increases. They will be less able to subsidize gas for their citizens for example.

Not sure if anyone else has suggested this, but…maybe venezuela could get a new ballroom.

Jus sayin

and TdA has incurred into the US, thus making all of TDA an enemy subject to what enemies get. This argument of “well hat boat isn’t coming here” is akin to telling soldiers to hold fire unless they’ve been shot.

Obama told you exactly what he was going to do as President and then attempted to do it, you just weren’t listening
