The US should tell all allies we will withdraw from NATO agreements with any nation that does not allow free speech as a guaranteed right, not only in law but in deed. Some have laws like that, but don’t allow it in practice.
We talk about the “Free” west, well, much of the west is no longer free.
We should stand for freedom, NATO is supposed to be there to protect freedom. A country without free speech is not free.
Just withdraw.
It doesn’t seem to benefit anyone but the Europeans anyway.
My point is an easy way to promote actual freedom… It’s not that I want to leave NATO, but make NATO better. Then if they don’t, yup, leave.
No, we should leave NATO and get away from these crazy european govt’s like the founders wanted. War and Marxism is all you get from them…

Really? The US dragged everyone else into the middle east after 9/11.
But that aside we all know leaving NATO requires congressional approval and I do not see that happening
Europe dragged us into just about every war long before then…and continue doing so.
What wars since the ME are US forces involved in?
Involved in Ukraine, keeping your shipping lanes open through red sea etc. Kosovo since first Iraq war…which BTW was mostly Kuwait oil was going to Europe. And then strikes against Libya etc. That was on French behalf.

No US soldiers or military are fighting in Ukraine or anywhere else.
But by the 21st Ukraine war will be a memory so ifs all good.
