The Ugly Face of Politics - Continued

Not in the least.

Says the guy who thinks Google search results prove something about political violence. Next, Google “irony.”

As Margaret stated before…

Arguing with the right is often an argument about reality, not politics…

They are always trying to pretend that they were not o the wrong side of history…

Just look at the college campus today. They attack and shut down free speech…

Get out of your liberal news bubble so you can see & hear it for yourself. There a scores of video of violent attacks on Trump supporters.

Kind of like believing real socailsim has worked…

Is this how you have conversations in meatspace? Just like, randomly start talking about other things than what is being discussed?

There are score of videos of White Nationalist attacking people too.

‘socailsim’ = 144 hits.

I just not a linear thinker…

If you want to say it isn’t true, and the left is disproportionately violent, give facts. Individual news reports do not prove one side is more violent than the other. Give statistics; injuries, arrests, complaints, something. Otherwise these type of posts will continue to be cherry picked anecdotes.

There was nothing misleading about the story. You continue to refuse to acknowledge that both sides have their own share of violent members.

That’s a kind way to put it.

But the “evidence” you presented TODAY was one-sided, contained hearsay, and had not reached a final conclusion.

Maybe next time you will present evidence that contains facts not opinions.

This juror says “not proven”

sorry better luck next time.

There is nothing new about this argument, and the ones disputing it are on the left. Nothing surprising there.

I was referring to opposing points of view.

Those on the right welcome open debate about their pollical differences, but at the end of the day they are willing to walk away - agreeing to disagree. And of course there are exceptions.

Those on the left have no interest in open debate. They seek to shutdown and silence those with opposing points of view. We see this constantly. We can look at the Universities; the ANTIFA thugs; those that park themselves on every conservative talk show looking for a slip of the tongue they can use to shut the show down; the occupy movements; shutting down access to public buildings and major roadways; I could go on and on.

How is giving someone the middle finger “welcome to open debate about their political differences”?

There was no open debate in this venue. The audience member paid to listen to music. He was rewarded with an anti-Trump screed. He made his displeasure known with the middle finger. That obscene gesture doesn’t justify a band member jumping off the stage and physically assaulting him.

How can you say this about the right but not the left? Your partisan, broad-brushing argument is part of the problem.

When was the last time a conservative prevented a liberal speaker from taking the stage?

As others stated, you’ve never been to a punk rock concert.

If he was upset over the anti-Trump message, he could have left the concert. Walked out. Avoided getting his ass handed to him.
