Please point to an incident where they were silenced. The backlash they received was in in response to them using their concert as a political platform. Audience members paid to see them entertain, not spew their political views. That is the same as the Hollywood award shows. They are no longer entertainment. They are political events. No one is attempting to shut them down on the right. Those of us on the right who don’t want to watch the politics simply don’t.
And therein lays the difference. The right votes with their feet, by simply walking away from something they don’t agree with. The left attempts to shutdown that which the disagree with.
When’s the last time you went to a punk or metal show?

I never implied this was an isolated incident. I made it clear that this type of crap takes place on the left almost daily. There is absolutely no tolerance for opposing points of view.
Maybe peek should go to a show and get in the pit. Then he’d realize how stupid this thread is.

The evidence is out there pretty much on a daily basis. I could probably start a new thread every day with the latest incidents. But I’m guessing the mods wouldn’t have much tolerance for that, so I won’t.

A punk rock singer jumping off the stage to clock someone who flipped him off for 2 songs from the front row is a thing that happens. It’s not evidence of how much more measured and reasonable “the right” are. You’re working backwards from your own bias. There are plenty of incidents of people on your “team” punching people from the other team. Heck your president encouraged it at a rally as it was happening.
I don’t condone violence in the name of politics, but at least the singer jumped down and engaged. Donald relies on others to do violence for him.
Really in the same thread where you post about a guy who sat at a concert giving the finger to a person you claim the right just walks away.
