Roughly one thousand school teachers in the District of Columbia are employed throughout the capital despite having no valid license, reports NBC Washington.

This is really nothing new. I know of private Christian schools that were allowing teachers to teach without a license going back to the 1980’s. A couple of them even tried to recruit me - even though I have no formal training in teaching.
