President Trump surprised leaders across Asia during his high-stakes meeting with Kim Jong Un this week, announcing the United States will halt future war games with the South Korean military as part of the upcoming denuclearization deal.
The Commander-in-Chief was speaking with reporters following his summit with the communist leader; confirming the US military will cease large-scale military drills in the region; maneuvers that have inflamed US-North Korean relations in the past.

The President’s comments come as Kim Jong Un promised to make “big changes” in his country’s relations with the west, pledging to begin a process that would remove all nuclear weapons from the Korean peninsula.
