It appears to have gone down something like this. 7 Guatemalan invaders living in a trailer park decided to get inebriated. One of them passes out in the driveway. Then for some reason another drunk decides to drive off in a van. I’m guessing to get more alcohol. Thereby squishing the passed-out invader. So naturally the others drag the dead hombre into the trailer. The cops show up and the stooges refuse to come out. Eventually they do. Some resist arrest when taken into custody. Thank goodness this happened in Florida where the Sherrif can contact ICE and get these nitwits the hell out of our country. If had had happened in an enlightened area such as Boston, mayor Wu would do every thing she could do to protect her beloved “neighbors.” Florida is not led by idiots.
I say the same to myself when a new thread gets started to highlight the next screw-up from ICE or DHS. (Though lately those have been gathering in the “I feel safe” thread now.)
But yeah, there’s always going to be great examples of how ICE does something arguable, and likewise great examples of unquestionable deportation candidates.
It’s going to be a perpetual clash of narratives.
I just keep hoping for some version of the Dignity Act to move forward and tamp down a whole bunch of circumstances that feed the extremes of the narrative spectrum.

I’m fine with starting a new one and letting the old one peter out. Different stories are fresh and would get lost in an old thread that people have forgotten about. I’m showing this story to every one. Not just who I’m replying to. You wouldn’t want anyone to miss out on this. Right?
Besides, my witty headline would be totally wasted. That would be tragic.
If fox can post this story, so can I. Should Fox just have one article on invaders that they keep adding to? Should we only be allowed one Donald Trump thread? Literally ev-ree-thing about Trump gets combined into that thread so that fewer people actually see it?
Nah. It balances the thread every time ICE arrests someone who “was in the process of becoming legal” or had been here illegally for over ten years and this is “the only home they know”.
