As I said, I was showing that the House was not a grand jury. That, unlike a grand jury, the defense is allowed, historically.

I have considered further your offer. I think that there would need to be a further condition. The condition would be that no pardon could be granted to Trump or any of his family for any of their actions. If a pardon was granted then a fine of no less than $2,500,000,000 would be payable by those pardoned with no possibility of bankruptcy protection.

Not going to happen. They only reason they want Trump to testify is simply to hang him into a perjury trap.

He says X, another witness comes before the committee and says Y. Even if Y cannot be corroborrated, they declare Trump guilty of perjury.

His lawyers would be insane to allow him to even submit written interrogatories.
