The Mueller Report -- Points of interest as I'm listening and reading

Acid is not bad for you in appropriate doses.

I sincerely wish everyone tripped at some point in their life.

I’m looking back at Watergate when both sides came together. The problem is now with the partisanship it’s less likely the gopers will turn against Trump unless there’s a real game changer. So far it hasn’t happened. But I don’t think it’s impossible.

Cyber warfare is being conducted against any and all bad actors. It is being done in secret. To continue to claim nothing is being done is just plain silly.

Glad you think so but the reports that have filtered out say not much is being done. This Washington Post story from last October is encouraging, but there have been other stories that aren’t as positive. (Those who say the WashPost is all anti-Trump should read this.)

The level of Russian interference in 2016 was unprecedented. If you dispute that, then provide some evidence.

The issue goes beyond Mueller’s finding that there was no conspiracy to arrange the Russian interference. He also reported that the Trump campaign wlecomed the benefits they received from the Russian interference. And since the election, Trump has insisted that the interference did not take place and his administration has taken steps to reduce efforts to punish the interference… such as lifting sanctions on Oleg Derispaska, who then rewarded Mitch McConnell by announcing the construction of an aluminum plant in Kentucky.

The United States should be making a full force bi-partisan effort reduce Russian interference. Americans should elect their government officials by ourselves.

Unfortunately, it appears that a substantial number of Trump supporters are embracing Russian interference, or treating it a the new normal because they believe it benefits their political aims.

Self interest over patriotism? Perhaps.

Actually the burden of proof would fall to the one making the claim.

No it doesn’t.

Just because you personally haven’t been briefed doesn’t mean cyberwarfare efforts are not being done in earnest.

You are simply making stuff up. Just because Trump supporters don’t froth at the mouth like Trump haters, doesn’t mean they are embracing anything.

Ah yes. When all else fails empty platitudes.

That would be your first mistake. #factsmatter

Facts can frustrate you.

Everything I wrote about the Mueller Report, Trump’s denial of Russian interference and Trump’s favor to Putin’s friend Derishpashka and his payback to McConnell is true.

You can say otherwise but your refusal to acknowledge easily verified facts exemplifies political self interest over patriotism.

Why would that be a mistake? I’m waiting.

Agreed. Although one of them gave us the emails.

Because Trump didn’t do anything wrong. There are absolutely no parallels between Watergate and the Russia Collusion Delusion farce.

“Likely” is not a fact.

the full extent of some of those meetings is not completely known. That’s a fact, Jack.

Now that may be a fact. Jack. As close as you’ve come anyway.

Then how do you know?

:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::+1:

Trump broke into a Russian hotel. Read the damn report!

You are simply regurgitating the talking points of the day.

There was no Russia collusion. Never was.

But by all means please continue to beat this dead horse. I’ll just munch on some popcorn while I watch the circus act.

Once again you are simply reciting Russia Collusion Delusion nonsense. There was no collusion. Its over. No one is going to jail.

Here’s John Dean’s full testimony yesterday.

Testimony about what? How was Dean involved in this case?

And since some of our fellow honored guests still don’t seem to know that the Mueller Report didn’t exonerate the President, here’s the portion of the Report (Vol. 2, Page 8) that confirms he was not exonorated.

Because we determined not to make a traditional prosecutorial judgment, we did not draw ultimate conclusions about the President’s conduct. The evidence we obtained about the President’s actions and intent presents difficult issues that would need to be resolved if we were making a traditional prosecutorial judgment. At the same time, if we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, we are unable to reach that judgment. Accordingly, while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.

He was there to scream “Watergate!!!”
