The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare (2024 Movie)

I saw the action spy comedy The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare Saturday, and it was a good movie.

I liked the action and humor of the picture. I also like the storyline, and I thought the performances was solid as well.

Recommend everyone to see it.

I give it a grade of an B+.

ENJOY!

By coincidence, Iā€™m currently a few episodes into Guy Richieā€™s series on Netflix called ā€œThe Gentlemen.ā€ Iā€™d give it a B+ as well for the same reasons. :+1:

Richieā€™s best work in years. Highly enjoyable series from start to finish.

that title sounds like a Monty Python movie

I started to watch it once and turned it off. I figured Iā€™d give it another try and it turned out pretty good. Must have just not been in the mood for brits the first time.

Hardly. Itā€™s more like a spaghetti western meets WWII flick.

Highly underrated. I hope it wins an Oscar.

Basically, it chronicles the birth of unconventional warfare. A group of Brits sets out to the middle of Africa to steal a German U-Boat supply ship, turning it over to the British navy.

The unit would become SAS, and inspire similar units worldwide including US Navy Frogmen, now called Navy Seals.

How this flick failed at the box office is beyond me. Enjoyed it immensely and will probably watch it again and again.

The history angle sounds interesting; Iā€™ll have to pick up a copy when it gets to the store
