Captive media has gotten too expensive, with diminishing, to the non-existent, returns.

No that’s retarded.
It would be like me saying I never watch Greg Gutfield, but I hope his show gets cancelled.
That would be pretty retarded, no?

His brother Craig was better.

is there any info on this to support? not that i disagree

if people wouldn’t watch gutfeld and he was costing fnc 40 mil a year , he’d get cancelled too

so, would you be retarded?

Actually … That’s who I meant.

I couldn’t remember his first name so I Googled it and John came up first. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

I’m going to fix that in my post.

I became a big Craig Ferguson fan when he was on the first Drew Cary Show many years ago. I think he played Drew’s boss if I recall correctly.

Yeah…and then what happened.
You’d think he had enough experience to hold him self afloat.
He crashed and burned because he had no enough inner strenght to keep his personal demons at bay.
He sacrificed a 20 Million a year job to voice his hate for Trump.
What a dope ! And a moron. I hope his wife leaves him.
( unless she is a bigger dope than he ).

Deranged.

He may be just that.
And most of his audience.

I get a kick out of Bill Mahr
Stewart… I couldn’t watch him longer than 10 minutes.
And this roach Colbert…never could watch him.
He is not even a good looker you can rest your eyes on.

You didn’t have to.
Salvation Army takes everyone.

He has a $75 million net worth. His standard of living is not going to be impacted.

He will go to a podcast where undoubtedly he will continue to make millions. And the upside of that for his is he will have complete creative control with no FCC or corporate interests to worry about.

Oh my.
Well I tried.

Good rigance.
One ugly face less to adorn the TV screens.
If MSNBC had brains they’d axe the View.
They were on the right track with ditching Joy. :+1:

Political satire today is difficult. I read that only 20% of Americans enjoy satire that challenges their political views (i would say this forum reflects that). I am one of the 20% because good political satire and comedy is good regardless of the topic.

When a comedian leans into cliches or starts moralizing thats where they lose me. The trick is to point out the absurdities of politicians and the laughs come naturally. Trump and Biden are both easy targets for that. Though of course Biden is no longer politically active so jokes about him make me scratch my head.

I just cannot understand anyone getting defensive about jokes being made about a politician they support.

Why would MSNBC axe The View? It is an ABC show.

The fact you dont even know which channel that show tells me its a show you dont watch but love to hate on just because of what everyone else says.

I have never seen an episode of The View because its hosts and content has zero interest for me but according to Grok it gets about 2.5 million viewers per day which for daytime terrestrial TV is not too bad.

I did not realize it has been on the air for nearly 30 years!!! You dont have that longevity on tv unless you are getting the ratings.
