Cost control I understand. Cost are based on supply and demand and since the US education system produces voters rather than doctors, the supply of doctors is limited. That increases the cost of healthcare.
- The US has only ~70% as many doctors per capita as countries like Germany France, the UK
and - 29% of our doctors were born abroad
(I remember the days when US education really worked & we used to send doctors and healthcare workers to places like India and China.)
I am interested in reading what kind of disparities you think exist though. I am not sure what you mean by that.
