The Iraqi parliament refused to grant troop immunity beyond the withdrawal date set by Bush-before Obama ever became president.
Under no circumstances were we going to leave troops stationed in Iraq without immunity. al Maliki (then PM of Iraq) said as much-that their parliament would not agree to extend it. So we left. It’s as simple as that.

There was never an investigation because the House switched parties, and there weren’t enough GOP votes to investigate it. And obviously the Dems aren’t going to investigate their own.
It’s like admitting your guilt in advance.

Mitch is a senator. Obama and Hillary (the commander and chief and secretary of state) are responsible for keeping out foreign enemies, and weeding out domestic ones. Part of the preamble to the Constitution is, “providing for the common defense.” It’s up to the commander and chief. It is them that has ultimate authority and the last say over the military, over the CIA.
