Do you hear yourself? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

You hear what you want to hear

Not what I said at all.

It’s all about a river in Egypt.

@gooddad409, waiting …

Or was this your fake news for the day?

The deal is I don’t bow to demands from the left. One demand always leads to another.

Google is your friend. Look it up.

I don’t like earplugs either. They can damage your hearing.

LOL. The fake posts continue. “Bow to the demands of the left.” Where do y’all get this stuff? There is a safe space over there if needed ----->

This is how you defend the rights of your citizens instead of caving to the unconstitutional demands of irrational people.

I love contract disputes…

Does the Sheriffs “pronouncement” override contract law?

As soon as someone brings a weapon in,seize the weapon and destroy it.

Their (Sandpoint) position is in direct conflict with State law and the State Constitution.

Knockout gas the whole place and search their unconscious bodies! Am I right?!

Elected cops are the best cops. Not much of a bar, but better nonetheless. lol

Are you trying to claim lessors can not set their own standards when leasing property? Is Sandpoint in breach of their contract and the festival can now break the contract?

On private property, yes. On public, no they can’t. We’ve been down this road before. They will lose.

For the very reason stated:

“While the Festival claims that, as a lessee, it has the right to prohibit firearms, the simple fact is that the city, as a lessor, cannot delegate a right or authority to a lessee which it does not itself possess,” ISAA President Greg Pruett said in a statement.

‘You are losing your rights. There is nothing you can do about it. Accept it.’

Sounds exactly like the Borg speaking in 21st Century vernacular.

Should they allow firearms on the property for this years festival?

This issue has already been settled via the Idaho Supreme court. Sandpoint will lose.

In a word … yes. The County “contract” is illegal. The Sheriffs have a sworn duty to uphold only Constitutional laws.
