You haven’t heard… next year’s drop has already started. They’re dropping the tests.

Consider the elementary students and the middle school students who also missed their classes. What educational tools are they not equipped with to deal with the next level of education? IMO…scores will be negatively impacted for close to a decade.

…and most of the time the solution given is to dumb down the assignments not pull up the student.

That is how you get HS graduates spelling and performing math at the 4th grade level.

“Once you learn to read, you will be forever free.”

Frederick Douglass

We should relearn how important reading really is. A man who can read is truly free. A man who cannot read is enslaved. It’s as true today as it was 150 years ago.

This whole education destruction thing is fascinating to me. They have always gone after it. It’s an obvious strategy.

And now it’s starting to bear fruit.

There are a couple of admonitions in the Tao Te Ching to keep the people ignorant.

Of course, there is Lenin’s famous quote. And later Critical Pedagogy. Marcuse’s statements about the roles of universities.

It’s evil to keep children ignorant so they can be controlled. Horribly evil.

That alone is reason enough to hate them in my book.
