Pimps in Oakland have reportedly stationed prostitutes outside a Catholic grade school, where parents said they walk their kids to school past women wearing next to nothing – or even naked.
“It’s every day, during all periods of the day,” mother Rosa Vargas told ABC 7. Vargas claimed that pimps have even followed Vargas down the street on a couple of occasions. Some of the prostitutes look very young and are likely underage, according to residents and local leaders.
I am not saying this is not cause for concern but how come the Fox News report does not show any footage of the prostitutes and their pimps? The video shows homelessness for sure. Even the accompanying photo is just a guy carrying a guitar.
I didn’t see any denials that it was happening from the Democrat politician included in the article. What I did see in the article was a claim that law changed previously had somehow made it a crime because of how someone looked, instead of an action they were taking. Yet the law was against loitering (an action) for the purpose of engaging in prostitution (a purpose).
The first picture didn’t actually show anything, and its caption didn’t imply that the guy in the picture was a pimp. The second pic was of a couple of prostitutes under arrest. The meat of the story was the law and how prostitutes can now loiter at will.
This is all predictable. When the natural way of a man and a woman, joined together in holy matrimony, having children and lovingly guiding them into adulthood is no longer the norm, these are the results. “We” are now several generations into this new norm and what we’re witnessing in different places around the country, is exacerbating.
