Donald Trump Jr. didn’t mince words when commenting on Santa Barbara, California’s fierce crackdown on plastic straws Wednesday, roasting the liberal lawmakers for focusing on plastic pollution as the region’s immigration crisis spirals out of control.
The President’s eldest son fired-back at the left-wing bastion on social media, saying “If only Democrats cared as much about curbing MS-13 gang violence as they do about straws.”
Trump Jr’s tweet comes after Santa Barbara announced hefty fines -and potential jail sentences- for local businesses that refuse to cooperate with the straw ban.
