Those on the left here believe that Democrat politicians are the answer to making things better in America, but where’s the evidence? Let’s look at some examples. There’s Bradon Johnson in Chicago:
Chicago faces a projected $1.2 billion shortfall for 2026.
Nothing but Dems for how long?
How about the amazing Tim Walz in Minnesota:
The third-ranking leader in the House of Representatives, who also happens to hail from Minnesota, demanded answers from Gov. Tim Walz after a YouTuber tried to confront employees of an alleged daycare center that had misspelled signage and no signs of activity outside but reportedly received $4 million in state funds.
There’s lib leadership in Portland:
Year in review: Homelessness crisis in Portland changes everyday lives of residents due to drug use and crime
The damage is clear when it comes to the city’s and state’s child populations. Oregon ranks 49th among the 50 states, ahead of Vermont, in birth rates. Whatever population gains the state is making are based on migration and immigration, and those gains are meager…
As a result of this declining population of families and children, the Portland Public Schools district is facing a $50 million budget deficit for the 2026-2027 school year…
Portland has also been wrestling with chronic absenteeism from the dwindling number of students who remain in its public school system. A 2025 survey of Portland Public Schools students found a spike in students who reported skipping school due to safety concerns. Several parents recently took the media to discuss how they pulled their children from Faubion School, after a student allegedly brought a knife to school and threatened students, yet was not expelled.
Safety concerns are prevalent outside the school system as well. Homelessness remains the top concern of Portland residents, along with the health issues and public safety hazards that come with it…
While some crime numbers look better than they have in recent years, Portland’s property crime rate remains 214% above the national average. (Yes, you read that correctly.) The city still has the second-highest total crime rate per 100,000 residents, ahead only of notoriously violent Memphis, Tennessee.
Who runs the major cities?
Violent crime declined nationwide in 2025, but a new survey shows several U.S. cities moving in the opposite direction, reporting increases in homicides, rapes, robberies or aggravated assaults even as the national trend improved.
Is it because of their soft on crime policies and ideology:
Illinois mom killed in ‘execution style’ shooting by convicted murderer as she opened up her bar
Burkes has multiple arrests in previous years, including for battery and alleged stalking.
In 1994, when he was 15, Burkes pleaded guilty to two counts of murder stemming from a killing on Chicago’s Far Side, the outlet reported.
He was sentenced to 37 years in prison but served less than half, according to the outlet.
More sympathy for the guy that mugged me’ — New Yorkers reveal final straw that made them flee city
Who is it that created communities in which children have to be bribed to show up for school?
Detroit Public Schools pay students up to $1K cash for showing up to class
And of course, there’s CA, where virtually all their population growth comes from their open border policies:
In 2025, California’s population grew slightly by about 0.05%. That growth came mostly from immigration and births. Domestic migration, however, remained deeply negative. The balance is being maintained from outside the U.S., not within it.
California ranks last in the US for new residents as more people leave
Another example of the damage their policies will cause to the middleclass there:
Lawmaker warns California’s oil and gas crisis is a major US security threat as Valero set to flee in 2026. Can residents handle $12/gallon next year?
