The Curious Case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia

You might say, I’m fine with sending this man to CECOT for life even though he has been convicted of no crime. That’s an opinion. Lying about how he got there and who is responsible for it is not an opinion.

You shouldn’t. I don’t. I care that we sent him to a brutal prison for the rest of his life.

Because he was illegally deported in violation of the Constitution and a judges order.

It’s easy to defend “good people” when the Constitution is at stake, it takes a true patriot to defend the Constitution when making sure justice is applied to “bad people”.

(Not saying Abrego Garcia is “good” or “bad”, just that he deserves his day in court.)

The deal we struck with El Salvador is that they would take some number of Venezuelan gang members and house them in CECOT for 1-year. We have no direct access to CECOT. We physically deport them to El Salvador, and the plane is met by ES personnel. Those ES personnel then escort the deported individuals to CECOT for processing.

Not my business what El Salvador does with its citizens.

They locked this guy up for life because your government told them he was a dangerous gang member, even though that isn’t proven. You should care.

It is when we’re paying for his detainment in El Salvador’s Human Storage Facility and we violated a court order in sending him there.

He’s not a US citizen, Buekele said he belongs behind bars and doesn’t have to justify his reasoning to us. It’s his citizen.

You are regurgitating LW talking points.

No one doubted that Garcia was going to end up in CECOT. But the US didn’t put him there. He was deported to El Salvador, and they incarcerated him in CECOT.

Yes, I’ve heard the party line. (RW talking points, as you would put it.) But of course the entire paragraph is nonsense. No one ever leaves CECOT. The president of ES would put Garcia on a plane today if Trump told him to. And the reason “those ES personnel” took Garcia to CECOT is because we told them he’s a dangerous gang member, even though he has not been convicted.

His reasoning is that we told him to. I’m sure you know this.

Troll

His reasoning is for him to decide in regards to his citizens, you must know this.

No one is actually buying this. We arrested him, we sent him to ES, we told ES officials he was a dangerous gang member. All this right after we paid ES millions to imprison gang members in CECOT.

Please, the guy hasn’t even been living in El Salvador, they would have no reason to imprison him without us telling them to.

We deported him to his country of origin where he was processed and sent to Cecot by his President!

Just keep repeating this nonsense, that’s how propaganda works.

He is a legal citizen of ES not the US. Buekele is his president. He is not legal here in the US.

And for that reason I have no problem deporting him if his asylum claim is without merit. Putting him in CECOT is something else.
