Just steal a page from the lefty playbook.
Family sues city of Downey after repeat offender kills family member.
Now all they need to do is reach a settlement that includes relevant laws getting repealed off the books, and certain DA’s resigning their office.
A ‘sue and settle’ strategy I approve of.

Need to know a bit more about why the man was released. Had he served his sentence? Was he released on bail?
What does this have to do with Soros?
Can’t sue for failure to prosecute. You can try and sue for keeping a known area unsafe
They had known for quite some time that 10 years [ago], another officer was murdered in this same parking lot, one of its own police officers. They’ve had a long history of crime in this area," he added.
Galindo claimed the area has had more than 670 police calls over the past four years. He claims the city’s liability for Lefonts’ murder is “based on the fact that they… helped create danger” in the area.
prosecutors don’t control isolation of “unsafe” areas
The suspect had been arrested like 24 hours earlier for trespassing in the same area. This is according to the LA Times (paywall).
After shelling out $40 million, they will. Either that or the city goes bankrupt very shortly thereafter.
Not sure a trespassing charge is sufficient to keep him incarcerated. Regardless of his previous crimes.
But I am not a lawyer nor have enough information.
Why would they shell out 40 million? Should cities or states be sued for criminal violence in particular areas for failing to have a constant or even an adequate police presence? What exactly are you advocating?
What do prosecutors or Soros have to do with an area being unsafe due to lack of police presence or whatever other way there is to make an area safer?
The lawsuit has nothing to do with the criminal according to the Fox News article. It’s about the area where the crime occurred
Yeah, but in the settlement, they can put an end to the soft on crime policies they have in place in cities like Downey.
Just like the eco wackos do when they sue the government in order to get a policy change via judicial channels.
No they can’t. If you are having a bit of fun that’s your prerogative. Everything else is fantastical thinking
