I never understand why some Steelers wanted Tomlin gone.
Jets fans like myself would die to have a coach with 19 consecutive non-losing seasons.

Youâre a Jetsâ fan.
That explains it.

Seriously though, being a Steelersâ fan the last 19 years is when I learned that Purgatory is worse than Hell.
There is nothing worse than the illusion that youâre relevant, when youâre really not, but the illusion means you wonât ever get any better.
Ah that makes sense why you love movies so much. The only time jets win another Super Bowl would have to be in a sci-fi move plot ![]()
Like the cubs
Yeah but thatâs true for almost everybody else not named Kansas City chiefs or New England patriots or whoever gets lucky in the nfc during an afc off year
Not true.
Kansas City is 3-2 in Super Bowls during their run, and other teams at least make a run and have played the Chiefs or Pats close even if they donât win.
The last 9 years for the Steelers have been the same scriptâŚhover around 9-8 and if you sneak into the playoffs, get boat raced in the wild card round.
Thereâs no anticipationâŚyou know this is how the movie will go.
I thought you meant relevance as in making the sb. Not progressing to yet another round and failing like the bills or the ravens. My fault.
Relevant in actually being considered a contender.
Any year the Steelers went into the playoffs, you knew they were going to get rocked in the first game and would never stand a chance.
Yes the Chiefs made the Super Bowl five times in six years, but itâs not like they blew out all their opponents to get there, and nothing about their appearances was inevitable.
I get what you mean now. You are right with regards to Steelers
But Outside of last year when they barely won games and got blown out in the sb chiefs and pats before them were a âĂa devait arriverâ
