Outstanding!!
Perhaps we all tend to accept more intrusion when we are emotional about events. Probably not a good way to develop policy.
And it seems that an appropriate level of outrage is required to have policy discussions. We demand the pols pass legislation NOW! while our fire is hot! And they take advantage of our outrage to further their control.
And then there’s the media…
Well let’s see, a good ruling by a district court judge in Eastern Virginia. Doubtlessly will be appealed to the Fourth Circuit, well known as the most politically conservative circuit court in the country, almost certainly overturned and the SCOTUS won’t hear the case.
