Because up until the trade war Trump has started, he has done relatively to mess things up. That’s not “hatesplaining.” That’s accurately describing Trump’s non-contribution to the economy. He’s largely stayed out of the way. That tax cuts were going to slam the debt, but were going to have little effect for the average person otherwise-corporations are just going to do what they always do, which is find a way to get most of their profit to the top and keep it there.
So I mean…the good news is, Trump has largely stayed out of the way and let the economy continue to improve during his first year. The trends leading to his first year and a half in office speak to that.

Actually he’s not. To imply that the low unemployment is due to Obama’s policies is absurd. I’m still looking for someone to tell me which specific policies are responsible.
