I don’t care about Men’s Hockey for the same reason I don’t care about Men’s Basketball.
It was an NHL All-Star game.
I’ve heard it was a great game and if so, good…great entertainment.
But pros winning medals is no big deal.
Considering both the USA and Canadian teams played against the best of international teams that also included pro athletes and some NHL players, it could also be said North America has the best of the best in hockey. Just MHO

Imagine the likes of Deontay Wilder, Tyson Fury, Oleksandr Usyk, etc., competing for the only gold medal that should ever matter, in a tournament.

I just did watch the OT because it’s out on YouTube…and I see NBC’s film and editing crew still doesn’t know how to present a game winning goal on TV properly. The negative feedback they got after blowing the moment presenting the women’s game winning goal didn’t sink in.
You pan and track the guy who scored the game winning goal, you idiots. You don’t stay focused on the goal, pan to the crowd, and then your first cut shot is of a member of the losing team.
Edit sorry their first cut shot was to the celebrating Americans but the point is they should have stayed focused on them the whole time.
Also, 3 on 3 in overtime in a gold medal game is dumb.

Jack lost himself some chiclets on that highstick penalty. Had the presence of mind to pick em up and show the ref for the double minor. God I love Hockey!

Tell that to Team Canada who looked like all their grandma’s died.
Hmm the Canadians came out swinging in the 2nd and 3rd periods. Sullivan had a problem getting good legs to maintain possession of the puck while Canadian defensemen were swarming all over the place. The 3 on 3 O/T period gave the game open ice and equalized the chances for both teams. Very exciting.

Hockey is not for cellar dwelling soy boys. One of my brothers played Jr League back in our hometown of Pittsburgh years ago. He’s gotten more stitches than a MLB baseball! 
glad the coach used Jack in the rotation, he is really good in OT.
