Tax cuts cause record Fed tax collection

The article is not written accurately.

Go for it… Not much of an increase. And the driver is not tax cuts.

Total tax collections are DOWN after the tax cuts. DOWN.

DOWN.

The tax bill is bringing in LESS revenue than the same months in the prior year. DOWN.

I appreciate the time that posters take to refute yet another one of the OP’s ignorant threads. Hopefully, people who lurk will learn something.

Another craptastic thread.

Agreed. And man do they have some restraint and patience as well, dealing with such an obvious troll. I just do not have it in me.

Gawd… Trump cultists can’t even understand basic data… just run with the cherry picked story,

Cratic understands it. You can tell by the way he’s wilfully ignoring the posts and data that show total tax revenues are down, not up.

As was said, we’ll keep highlighting Cratic’s dishonesty to any lurkers that might want to seriously learn something rather than have their ears tickled.

In the meantime, he will keep cherry picking individual tax revenues and go with that.

Another thing he will, of course, ignore, is that many wage-earners who will see a tax cut will have not adjusted their withholding, and so therefore are witholding taxes at the old rates…thus they will get a bigger refund next year…and even personal tax revenue collection will take a hit.

Right. 500bil to 1trillion in 2 years during full employment just isnt that much lol

The National debt is now at 21.4 trillion dollars. It has increased by about 7% under Trump. And Trump inherited a good economy.

Wait what? Participation rate. 95 million out of work … boomers are retiring? Really?

Either or. CNS links to the government.
