By telling me how a Hospital ICU ward is like a McDonalds
I didn’t say it is. Being in ICU for COVID without a vaccination is no worse than being in an ICU for any other reason that could have been prevented or diminished. Such as being morbidly obese and having a heart attack. Morally of course.
There have never been enough beds. That’s why triage was invented.
The point is that Covid patients are taking up more and more space in the ICU’s to the detriment of all other people.
Being on the ICU for Covid is pretty preventable these days with vaccination.
Because of lack of vaccination and pushback against the most modest of public health measures we are seeing a situation where an alarming number of hospitals in Florida are up against the wall with 36 - 48 hours worth of oxygen left and are scrambling to get some more.
This could have all been avoided.
Thankfully, Gov. DeSantis has taken the lead, given the finger to our Fifth Column media, and has opened antibody treatment sites throughout the state.

68 Hospitals are 2 days or under away from being out of oxygen.
The seven day average is over 20,000 cases a day.
It is sad that this was all avoidable.
My goodness, you certainly are quite adept at painting a picture of gloom and doom, in spite of Gov. DeSantis’ antibody treatment policy beginning to take hold which is referred to as a “potential life-saver”.

Of course, record highs of covid are occurring . . . the covid vaccine is not preventing the fully vaccinated from being re-infected with the virus which is showing up in daily covid cases being counted. But the good news is, as reported in the above article,

“It’s a free, single outpatient treatment that keeps high-risk patients from being hospitalized and suffering complications like death,” he said.
Had the same amount of attention been paid from the beginning, on various available treatments for the virus, and the importance of natural immunity, as given to promoting a somewhat effective vaccine, we probably would not be in the mess we are today.
In any event, it is not too late to start promoting effective treatments and the importance of natural immunity along with the covid vaccine.

They should wear masks. And while those with breakthrough infections may have similar viral loads to infected non-vaccinated people, with milder symptoms and a shorter infectious period they are still less likely to transmit it then the vaccinated.
This isn’t destructive to the general welfare, this is helpful for the general welfare. The more people that are vaccinated the slower the spread. If it takes denying them a trip to TGI Fridays to strong arm them into getting the vaccine, I’m all for it.

The answer is that the actual study does not say what people are saying it says.
Is that so? Seems to me everyone’s takeaway from the Israeli study is that Mother Nature’s natural immunity is far better than the vaccine.
Of course, this is not to suggest that the vaccine does not have a role in fighting the covid pandemic. But the Israeli study does confirm how idiotic NYC’s one size fits all __ No Vax, No Service is.
Not only is NYC’s mandate absurd and tyrannical, but it ignores the science, and actually encourages the fully vaccinated, who are symptom free but infected and spreading the virus, to go about and enjoy public accommodations and spread the virus, while those who have natural immunity and are virus free, are discriminated against by government and prohibited from going about their daily activities.
