T Coronae Borealis is expected to make its next appearance between now and September. T Coronae Borealis is a recurrent nova. It is not normally visible to the naked eye, but will become visible for a few days.
The exact date of the nova will not be known until we are fairly close to the actual occurrence, but NASA Universe on Twitter/X will give updates.
Between now and September I won’t see Sirius either. The sky is too bright up here to see anything but the Moon and possibly Mars, Venus, Saturn and Jupiter before mid September.
