The point she made was that she normally carried a gun, but due to some point of law she had to leave it in her car. If it wasn’t for the law that prevented her from taking her gun in with her she would have been armed when the guy busted up the place and shot everyone including her parents.

While true, businesses have every right to prohibit them in their property. Ironically, Luby’s still prohibits weapons.
