Supreme Court Accepts Case Challenging Jan 6 Obstruction Charges

The Supreme Court accepted a challenge to the Jan 6 Obstruction of Congress, This can have a huge impact on everyone involved. The litigants are claiming that the law they were prosecuted under are mis interpreted, and were never designed for what the DOJ is charging. This reporter makes a very compelling argument as to why it should be, and most likely will be, thrown out. He further states that if the DoJ is shot down on this, the whole “Trump Disqualified 14th” argument could be thrown out without them ever ruling on the actual case. Facts Matter

Let the truth prevail and lady justice be blind because thus far, the DoJ is nothing but a weaponized, corrupt political instrument of the establishment.

Epoch Times? Come on.

Your condescendence is showing.
Either they are correct and the court accepted the case, or they are incorrect, and the court didnt. Why dont you just watch the video and point out where you think they are wrong?

The SCOTUS is only being asked to review whether Trump is immune from any prosecution during the period of time when he was President. Trump doesn’t want SCOTUS to rule on this, he wants to slow walk this through the appellate system in order to delay the March trial that is seeking to convict him for his actions post the 2020 Presidential election, including Jan 6. If SCOTUS agreed to hear it, it would be bad news for Trump, not good news. Fortunately for Trump, they have not agreed to hear this case yet. The title of the thread is not accurate.

This has been reported all over the news- why pick a conspiracy-loving propaganda rag like Epoch Times?

Oh, and here is some info about your ‘reporter’
"Undeterred, The Epoch Times pivoted to video, specifically YouTube, spending millions on internet-infamous ads featuring Roman Balmakov, a former Epoch Times delivery person who now hosts the online show Facts Matter. In the ads, Balmakov rails against the mainstream media, communism and the persecution of Trump. ". How the conspiracy-fueled Epoch Times went mainstream and made millions

Is it wrong?

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this particular video is not about Trump.

There’s no doubt the SCOTUS is going to hear this case. It’s been widely reported for a week.

You agree with Epoch Times! Oh my Marx! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!?

I do not.

If you can’t dispute the content, attack the source? How woke.

From my link

The justices said nothing about the Trump prosecution in agreeing to take up the case, but legal experts said Trump’s lawyers could argue that the court’s move should delay the start of his Washington trial on election subversion charges, currently due to begin in March.

On what legal basis do you disagree with Epoch Times opinion?

He is a reporter. He is reporting on what others tell him. Again, watch the video and tell us what points he is making that you feel are in err.

There is a guy in this video that has been in jail for three years and has yet to go to trial. They are using this garbage law that is being misapplied to get people to plea down. I hope the DoJ gets shut down on this, and if they do, all of Jan 6 suddenly becomes garbage. Just like Russian Collusion. All garbage.

I agree with @WuWei They will use this case to throw it all in the garbage.
