States and Capitals

Here is a picture of a State Capital Building.
What State and What City?
Can we do all 50? …err…or is that 57?

Extra points if you can also name the river.

I’ll take credit for identifying this one as Oklahoma City before someone else does.

For the sake of accuracy, …

It’s a capitol building, and a capital city.

Florida, as pictured above, is a partial trick question. That is the OLD Capitol Building with the top of the current Capitol sticking up behind it.

Everybody knows the Florida Capitol is a giant phallus.

Here is the view, coming from the east on the Apalachee Parkway (US-27). The Old Capitol is in front.

Ya know… That makes total sense for Florida. Florida Man designed the building and laughed his head off while boxing an alligator.

Atlanta, GA?

I think I saw a gold-roofed capitol while passing by on an outing.

If you are referring to the first picture in the thread, that is the Capital Building of Iowa, in Des Moines.

The interior is even more impressive.
