I’ll give you one guess who’s got their panties in a twist and is demanding Big Daddy Government for protection, because automakers don’t want to put obsolete AM radios in their cars anymore.
“Under existing FCC rules, foreign company ownership of US radio stations is not supposed to exceed 25%. Soros took foreign investment to make his bid and then made a filing asking the commission to make an exception to the usual review process, according to public documents,” Moynihan added. “The FCC decision to fast-track his deal is the first time in modern history such a deal has been approved by the full Commission without first running the national security review process—a process that could take up to a year or more.”
No fair. All local radio and tv broadcasting must be divided between the fiefdoms of iHeartRadio, the Salem Radio Network, Sinclair Broadcasting, and other similar rightwing garbage chutes. It’s simply disgraceful for there to be other voices backed by other rich people on the air.
I’m 2+ decades over 50. I have a Sirius subscription and listen to radio every day sometimes for hours mostly music.
I feel sorry for people who don’t listen to the radio.

Perhaps but methinks you just wanted to shoehorn that fact into any old thread.
The challenge Newsmax like other cable news channel’s is that the growing under 50 demographic does not consume news in what was deemed the traditional way. And over time the demographic that is watching them is slowly dying ouy.
When the younger generations hit 50 plus its not like a switch will be triggered and suddenly they will start to watch cable news.
Same for news print media, i cannot remember the last time i bought a newspaper. Go to any airport departue area and the vast majority of people are on smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.
Actually, traitorous Paul Ryan was put in charge over Fox Corp. after it was separated from Disney Productions. Of course, it was all an illusion attempting to save Disney’s hit in the stock market. But it isn’t freaken working! Disney stock is still in the toilet, and rightly so! And Fox News is hemorrhaging its audience to Newsmax.
