Sparks flew between far-left presidential candidates Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren during Tuesday night’s Democratic debate in Iowa, where the Massachusetts’ Senator refused to shake her opponent’s hand after the event.
“As candidates exchanged pleasantries and handshakes on stage, Elizabeth Warren approached Bernie Sanders, who stretched out his hand for her to shake. But Warren either didn’t see — or rebuffed him, and a tense exchange followed,” reports Politico.
Right after the debate ended, Bernie Sanders extended his hand for a handshake and Elizabeth Warren straight up rejected him.

Warren’s campaign accused Sanders of “sexism” earlier this week; saying he told the Senator in 2018 he doesn’t believe a woman can defeat President Trump in 2020.
Bernie has flat-out denied the allegations, calling the accusation “incomprehensible.”
