Socialism and the observations of an extensive traveler

I’ve been to all 50 states. 4 Canadian provinces, Several U.S. territories, much of the Caribbean, including Cuba, central America and Europe. And I have met a lot of people from diverse places. What do they all have in common? Literally none of them have come from socialist, government run economies. Zero, Zip, Nada. Why do you suppose that’s true? Maybe because they’re not allowed to leave or they’re stuck at home living a meager existence in government supplied housing and drudgery?

Remember folks. When you vote democrat, you’re voting to bring this misery here.

You’ve never met a Chinese person before? No one from Vietnam? Heck, even the Indian constitution has references to democratic socialism in it. Never met a person from India before? And you said you’ve been to Cuba, did you not talk to anyone while you were there? Granted, folks from N Korea don’t get to travel much, so I could understand not meeting them.

Did I stutter? My experience is exactly as I said. Nothing to change. Sorry, it is what it is. Your Cuba comment comes off as a little ignorant. Cuz none of the Cubans that I met were travelling. I was in THEIR country. They were home. I was the one travelling. Oh, and India is a mixed economy. There’s a whole lot of capitalism going on there. My neighborhood is loaded with Indians here on work visas. The ones I have seen travelling were working in resorts or on ships.

Not sure that travelling to resorts around the world or going on cruises give you an accurate insight into a country.

A mixed economy?

You don’t SAY.

How do they stay prosperous in a mixed economy, since you are constantly ranting on here about the very same mixed economy we have in the US, calling it communism/socialism that’s leading us to disaster?

So you’ve never met a Chinese person outside of China?

Whiff. You read something that I didn’t write. At no point did I say my insight was about any country. I said my insight was my fellow travelers. And none were from socialist countries. Oh, and your assumption that I lock myself on a resort and never leave or also false.

You’re 0 for 2 in your assumptions.

Whiff. I have never met a Chinese tourist anywhere. At our Yellowstone hotel, there was a bus load of Japanese tourists. No sign of any Chinese. Me thinks you might be over thinking this a tad. Sorry. Socialist citizens are stuck in government housing making government wages. You’re more likely to run into a sasquatch than a Chinese tourist at Yellowstone.

Never spent any time in an international termnial at an international airport. Spent two hours there picking my son up. Met 5 chinese people. All in a family. They were visiting family in Chicago…so in two hours we talked. My wife let the mom use her cell phone to call her family. Nice people.

Amen to that and it can’t be said enough.

Congratulations!
How do you think they got permission to visit family? Communist party members? They may be nice people, but they go nowhere without government approval. Think you’ll ever see a Chinese person touring the Greek Isles?

Yeah, me neither,

And remember when you vote republican you are voting for a recession and paying for tax cuts to the rich oh and no health care.

Well even if someone leaves a resort being on holiday is very different to actually living and work there.

Do you think Brits who visit Orlando for two weeks and spend their time at Disney and Coco Beach know what its like to live in America?

Good thing I didn’t mention anything about the people who live and work there. My experience was with other travelers. Which includes zero people from socialist countries. Because they’re stuck at home in their dingy government apartments. Why are you not getting this?

Has absolutely nothing to do with the topic.

God forbid that in Europe socialist hellholes we fund the government and expect a return on our money.
The government is funded by the people and should be spent on the people.

That’s a bunch of hogwash and the same kind of idiotic rhetoric Dems have been spewing for decades. The only new ideas they have all favor free healthcare and civil rights only for illegals, criminals, gays, trans, and President Trump.

Google is your friend it will tell you the last 11 recessions out of 12 were under republicans.
You’d prefer to fund wars instead of health care I get it. Oh and taxpayer funded corporate welfare.

Now tell us which party had the house and the senate. You know those the house and the senate who hold the purse strings and spends the money. Bet you’re not brave enough to be honest.

I just gave you my observation. What you make of it is up to you.
