And I’m not saying this is how it should be. I’m just conveying what has been presented about Affirmative Action in multiple HR training classes I have attended.

In fact, I believe random selection in meritocracy has been studied academically at least once.

I have no doubt of that. And I wouldn’t advise an employee to make a stand on the issue in their company against a policy like that unless they had another job lined up. I’m just saying that because it is a practice doesn’t mean it should be internally accepted as normal.
