So libs. What's your amazing immigration plan?

And in what way does my response contradict what I am saying?

Make them ineligible for public assistance. If they are not self-sufficient, they should be sent home. The American people should not be forced to pay the bills of foreign nationals.

You’re in the wrong party. Literally none of your representatives believe this.

You’ve made a lot of stupid comments, but this one is right up at the top. Why the hell do you believe that Melania is an illegal? Educate yourself better before making such a goofy statement, obviously.

You’re in opposition to your entire party. They want nobody deported. They want the votes and the congressional representation. They couldn’t care less about these people.

Not a LIB, but…

Update our system so that DHS gets notification when someone’s visa expires. That person is then contacted by DHS for remediation. They would have a window within which they would need to resolve the matter or be deported.

Most of that could be automated through computers. Only if the issue isn’t resolved within the designated window, would an actual agent need be involved.

Good. Convince your party to take up your plan.

Google AI tells a different story.

ā€œYes, the Trump administration has a plan to find and deport visa overstays, according to the National Archives.
Key elements of the plan include:
A Presidential Memorandum signed by President Trump directed the Secretaries of State and Homeland Security to address nonimmigrant visa overstays.
The administration planned to work with countries that have visa overstay rates higher than 10%.
Recommendations were sought on actions to limit overstays, including possibly suspending or limiting entry from high-overstay countries.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) explored ways to reduce overstays from countries in the Visa Waiver Program and to implement admission bonds.
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) was using advanced biometrics to identify overstays.
DHS aimed to strengthen the Visa Waiver Program by notifying overstayers of the consequences and requiring participating countries with high overstay rates to conduct public awareness campaigns.
Additionally, the Trump administration has taken steps such as:
Stating that foreign students and exchange visitors who lose their status and do not seek reinstatement may be deported.
Expanding expedited removal, which could potentially affect some individuals who entered on parole.
Generally emphasizing the enforcement of immigration laws, including those related to overstays.
Visa overstays account for a large number of individuals in the United States without legal status. The Trump administration has actively sought to address this through various measures. ā€œ

You may have heard of the controversy of Trump revoking visas for some countries.
ā€œThe primary reason for the visa restrictions is broadly attributed to national security concerns. Specific issues cited include deficiencies in screening and vetting processes in some countries, high rates of visa overstays in others, and concerns related to terrorist activity or state-sponsored terrorism in certain nations.ā€œ

This would be so much better than a pizza bet :upside_down_face:

Sure.

But we aren’t in power. What is Trump doing about it?

Trump will ā– ā– ā– ā–  it up.

As for Dems, if they hope to ever win an election again they had better figure it out.

Oh. About the visa overstays? I believe I downloaded a wall of text from Google AI on that subject.

Not really (especially under Biden they weren’t):

Get some kind of help.

15 million people (roughly, the Biden bunch did such a terrible job intentionally at the border and we were so overwhelmed no one really knows the exact number other than Biden/Mayorkas set records for border crossings monthly especially during the first three years of his failed presidency) entered this country illegally under the four years democrats and biden were in charge.

What the hell are you slobbering about.

Stop justifying you and your party allowing the country to be invaded. It’s such a waste of time to deal with you people.

congress already had a bill in place that the dems and reps were both on board with, but trump rejected.

that bill is a good starting point.

ā€œApprehensionsā€ and ā€œencountersā€ is basically the same ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  thing, especially during Biden’s four years. When someone turns themselves into CBP that’s an ā€œApprehensionā€, which was the case for virtually everyone who showed up at the border. It’s pointless to have a conversation with someone like @PurpnGold who is obviously trolling. Anyone with half a brain and whose intellectually honest knows what Biden and the Dems did at the border was 100% intentional.

We already have laws on the books regarding visa overstays.

Well, everyone who showed up at points of entry, anyway.

The ones wading across the Rio Grande and disappearing into the Chihuahuan Desert never got encountered, except those that perished and later were found by cadaver dogs.

Keep building the wall!!
