In January, NASA reported a likely strike on Earth of a 13 meter diameter asteroid on May 6th.
That’s next Friday. Yet I haven’t seen any update. Is this thing going to hit us or not?

I watched some show on Netflix…Don’t Look Up. It was pretty retarded, but had a fun premise. A planet killer asteroid was due to hit earth, and they scrubbed the mission to destroy it avoiding disaster entirely in favor of breaking it into smaller parts in hopes that they hit earth so that a cell phone company could mine its resources.
They failed.
I watched that as well. I agree with your sentiments. I did find it odd how true to form the movie portrayed the media, they were so oblivious to an asteroid hitting earth. The scene where leonardo loses his ■■■■ on a news show made me cry laughing.
