Did I miss something? Has the Ayatollah said that he wants to meet the President? The President cannot simply “decide” as you say to meet with someone. Maybe I’m wrong, but I have not heard the Ayatollah show any interest in a meeting.

What difference does it make if Iran hasn’t expressed interest? What’s of import here is Donald’s interest in meeting with another enemy of the US and a known sponsor of state terrorism. It’s a brilliant piece of unilateral stable genius thinking and will undoubtedly result in transforming Iran into a bigger US ally in the region than Israel.

I agree he is cool. But speculating on some phantom meeting that nobody is talking about is a waste of time. If a meeting starts becoming part of the official discussion, then I will show some interest. So far, I have seen no sign that any meeting is planned. So I’m outta here.

I don’t like the meeting with kim, but considering the N. Korean open threats to nuke the U.S. and its’ territories and the clash of two fragile egos involved, I’d consider it lucky that no shots have been fired to date, and it’s cost us nothing to this point.
