It’s a dumb argument either way. Immigrants surged the border when Covid pandemic started waning. The same thing happened with inflation.
Most everything surged immediately following Covid pandemic… if Trump was in office, the same surge would have happened. However I will admit, Trump probably would have been more authoritative with the response to it. I fully believe Trump would have shutdown the border.

There is no reason they must be tied together. Have your party f=grow a set and take on illegal immigration and the border as an issue alone. We all know why they won’t.

The problem with your questions is that they are dishonest.
If you start with “why do you Dems support the influx of illegals” it all ends there.
To be fair, “many” and “most” can be very different things.
A million dems is many. It’s “many many”!
But it’s only a slim fraction of all dems, so hardly most.

Sorry it came up as there is a Senate bill currently being worked on with the WH, which aims to update our asylum laws and deportation criteria.
But it seems the big stickler is that it also includes Ukraine aid.
What is your stance on the border issue? What do you want to see? Are you aligned with the DNC policies you are voting for?
Updated asylum laws, streamlined system for legal immigration, work permits for low skilled workers based on need.
