Itās not in Trumps interest for any immigration bill to be passed especially not on a bipartisan basis.
I suspect he will be glad to take credit. Giving an official blessing to letting in 5000 a day is no compromise bill.
Let Biden attack Texas. 70% say he is messed up on immigration. Letās see how they would react to that.

Dems believe that the statement on the Statute of Liberty should reflect our immigration policy. Therefore if you take it to its logical conclusion then we would have unlimited and unrestricted legal immigration.
It might not be, but I read the post Trump posted this all came from and after weeding though page after page of the media saying Trump derailing the border deal.

So he doesnāt think they should be dealing with Democrats on the border, but if they do it needs to be a good deal to get what Republicans want on the border thatās his stance.
If people were being honest in the media, they would just say that Democrats are much further to the left on the border than Republicans are, and thereās no chance of deal is going to pass a republican controlled house unless the border is secured.
All we got to go on right now is a few leaks, and it doesnāt sound at all like theyāre trying to secure the border. The few things that leaked weāre talking about getting more judges, and only allowing 5000 illegals a day in or some nonsense. Iām not sure why the Democrats want this itās killing their chances for 2024 when even democrat mayors and governors are freaking out about on the impact itās having on their cities.

All you have received are denials, excuses and rationalizations. The claims that it is legal are some of the best. It is legal to request asylum, but it is not legal to make false statements to federal authorities. When an economic migrant turns themselves in to the border patrol claiming that they are actually an asylum seeker, and repeats the claim at processing, they are making a false official statement in an effort to receive a benefit.

Them lying about why they are coming here is irrelevant to these people. All they know after being coached by the cartels is that hereās what they need to tell CBP and they get a free pass into the US. EVERYONE knows this, thatās why this is just a ā ā ā ā ā ā ā game. The problem is that we have an entire political party that wants unlimited migration of these poor people into the country in order to get their votes.
