Senate will proceed to H.R. 8337, the Continuing Resolution on Tuesday, September 29th

The Senate will proceed to consideration of H.R. 8337, the Continuing Resolution on Tuesday, September 29th.

H.R. 8337 passed the House of Representatives on September 22 by a vote of 359 to 57.

There should be enough votes to invoke cloture in the Senate, procedure to consideration, invoke cloture on final passage and vote on final passage.

This C.R. funds the government through December 11th. Additionally it extends authorization for a number of programs.

Normal. About the only thing that the Senate does (besides approving conservative judges).
It has not going un-noticed that McConnell has over 450 bills that have passed the house on his desk that he won’t even allow to go to committee.
