SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!

In a series of “Truths” earlier today, Trump called for the arrest, trial, and death of six Democrat lawmakers who urged members of the military to not follow illegal orders. He also “re-truthed” several posts calling for the death of these lawmakers.

“It’s called SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL,” Trump charged in a post on Truth Social. “Each one of these traitors to our Country should be ARRESTED AND PUT ON TRIAL. Their words cannot be allowed to stand - We won’t have a Country anymore!!! An example MUST BE SET.”

The president then reposted 16 Truth Social posts, including one that advocated for hanging the Democrats, like “GEORGE WASHINGTON WOULD.”

“SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!” he later wrote.

Fair enough that Trump feels betrayed and angered by these Democrats. His reaction though speaks to how temperamental, unbalanced, and stunted he is as a leader. Surely a lot of his supporters will agree with what he said, others will simply ignore his outburst, and the rest will claim they never saw his statements. Most importantly, very few will take him to task and take issue with his behavior.

He always tells us what he knows about himself. It’s in these emotional crybaby posts.

The problem with the annoying orange is that you can’t tell when he is trolling and when he is serious. He uses both to full effect.

It’s how bad leaders avoid being held responsible for their actions.

It manipulates the hell out of the opposition as well.

Most of my replies on this forum should be “quiet, piggy” at this point.

Trump trumping about. Waited for the election earlier this month. Midterms next year.

You don’t think the POTUS calling for American lawmakers being put to death is worthy of comment?

I agree! I hesitated creating this thread knowing he’d do something else just as stupid at any moment. This outburst though seemed a bit more unhinged than usual. Calling for the execution of lawmakers and all.

I DO think your whining is sad to watch.

Hope that helps!

I don’t care what Trump says, I care what libs on the Hannity forum say in response.

No, it doesn’t help. It’s weird. It’s always been weird.

What a stupid response. Doesn’t even address the OP at all.

when they can’t honestly defend it they turn to mocking political rivals.

Trump is as usual sounding like an outraged forum poster, exaggerating everything.
The Democrats involved were actually repeating what everyone knows, that illegal orders don’t have to be obeyed. They were smart enough to not mention which specific orders need not be obeyed, making the admonition a meaningless political ploy to imply that Trump was likely to make illegal orders.
The risk there is that someone in the military may decide on their own that an order to do something they don’t like is illegal, getting themselves in a pile of trouble as the 6 Democrats slink away.

How is this any less dangerous than the political rhetoric that led to Charlie Kirk’s murder? You don’t think there are unhinged MAGA supporters who might take this as a call to action?

Is it bad that I don’t find this rant from Trump surprising anymore.

A lot of libs won’t be able to mentally survive without Trump when this is all said and done.
