The Green Bay Packers had proposed a ban on the “tush push,” a move popularized by the Philadelphia Eagles.
Talk about sour grapes. How about trying to stop it?
I hope the NFL wise up and vote the proposal down.
The Packers would have a point if every team adopted the tush push and showed it was a guaranteed 1-2 yards every time.
But it’s not- the only team that has gotten it into the 90+% successful range are the Eagles.
And that’s because the Eagles got the physics correct.
Any tactic can have a counter developed.
