But it still begs the question.

Even if she was inducted, chances are low she would be sent to combat arms. There are a lot of “strategic” MOS’s and of course plenty of support MOS’s. Very unlikely the military would send a female to a combat arms MOS. Plus many would be routed to the Air Force and Navy.

I don’t have any children. But I would be equally horrified if either were forced to go to a distant land against their will assuming I had kids.

If they volunteer, that’s great.

To be forcibly conscripted and made to go under threat of imprisonment? That is appalling to me. Their gender doesn’t matter.

No it doesn’t. We’ve had Selective Service since 1917. Women have not been conscripted.

Personally I think that it should be all women, heck this is the year 2020. We need to be an example to all the world how genuinely woke we are!
