I propose two.

  1. An NFL style kickoff. The game is better with the kickoff being an actual play, not a ceremony. Kickoff returns are exciting.

  2. Get rid of the idea that if the ball moves at all in the receives hands he has lost control. Just because the ball doesn’t look like it’s super glued to his jersey doesn’t mean he’s lost control and he’s juggling it like a circus clown.
