'Rona Relief Bill 2

Already have had numerous murder/suicides as people have hit foreclosure and have responded by killing their families and themselves.

I’ve seen reports of increased drug abuse, depression, etc.

Of course we did because we went into a new lock down because of the surge which is exactly as expected.

This shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone with a carotid pulse.

it definitely feels like they are getting close to an answer on deciding whether or not to create a committee to come up with the bullet points for the panel to investigate whether the discussion should be initialized on the topic of money allocation to fund research on whether or not people getting 100 bucks a month will help. progress

Agreed, but people don’t want to cut off $1,000 a week for doing nothing but sit on the couch and watch Netflix, and get up every morning to work for $18 an hour

You get called back, you gotta go. No other option.

…and that’s just for the kids not in school. I’m making a joke, but it may not be that far from the sad truth for some school children.

And it’s about to get way, way worse.

and that isn’t counting the long term ramifications of third and fourth level. heard a while back about the census still have not counted 40% of households because of rona issues. that means many regions will not only be short of local cash to deal with all these problems but fed cash too

True, but what are the legal protections from disgruntled employees who would sue the employer, if they catch the virus anytime after they returned to work?

Sounds like the company is taking advantage of unemplyment, not the worker.

It’s not up to “people”. The employer reports them.

He has a valid point though.

Fine. So keep funding to help the business and the worker. That’s just a stronger argument for extending it immediately at current levels.

The companies need liability protection for a virus they have no control over.

The federal payments are of course in addition to the State UE payments and don’t include stimulus payments another of which is supposed to be coming in a few weeks.

Don’t buy the lies the press is feeding you, look a bit deeper.

No it isn’t, not even close.

If only they hadn’t squandered months and months instead of negotiating on that very issue, and tried to strongarm the House by waiting until the last possible two and a half weeks before the August recess and then not even having the votes when the time came.

They have been demanding it for months.
