Truly a man of God. The world is a bit poorer place today.

He was a funny dude. Had a comedian bent to his role on the show. But it was that real dry sarcasm. I really enjoyed him as an entertainer.

Phil Robertson was the starting QB at Louisiana Tech University and apparently he was quite good. His backup: Terry Bradshaw.
As Bradshaw tells the story, Robertson a backwoods avid hunter and fisherman other than game day uniform and practice gear wore the same clothes and shoes every day. After games or practice Phil would disappear to hunt and fish. Robertson either had a falling out with the coach or just up and quit to go fishing. From that point on Bradshaw was the starter to eventually get drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers.
RIP Phil Robertson a man of God, country and principle.

RIP Duck Commander. He had some really good biblical concepts. He’ll be missed.

I remember that Terry mentioned him in his book No Easy Game he wrote long before Phil came to us with his show
