RIP George Foreman

Just found out he passed away at age 76.

Oldest heavyweight champion…best grill salesman. Not perfect, but a truly nice guy.

He will be missed. Hopefully he can now get his rematch with Ali.

Always came across very likeable in all his interviews.

Neah…up there, I imagine, folks just sit around feeding the pigeons and reminising.
When I get there I’ll make a few selfies and post 'em here. :dancer:…ing.

I remember my father sitting me down to watch the rumble in the jungle. I think I was 7. I got into boxing because I thought all fights were like that.

Foreman said one thing in hindsight that made a lot of sense. He was the champion, and he should have made Ali come to him. He was too confident. But he had good reason to be. He will be missed.

All his sons are named George. (Five of them, I believe.)

The action starts in the 4th round. A wild back and forth fight.

They don’t make them like Big George anymore. RIP.

RIP I remember my first years in college my mums buying me a George Foreman grill (still have it). He always seemed so nice on tv.

RIP champ.

He was a super nice guy but he also had a punch like a full size truck.

The current auction I’m assembling has a George Foreman grill with several griddle plate attachments. Still works. Not sure what year though. I’ll probably notice a lot of references to him from here on out.

He was like everyone’s dad beating up the neighborhood meathead on his second title run.

I probably made 10,000 hamburgers on that grill.
