Republicans Bring Back Smoke-Filled Rooms on Capitol Hill

And I think a bottle of Lagavulin 16 should be no more than $60.

Progress!

I’d rather let people smoke than endure progressivism.

Lagavulin costs the same whether it is bought by the the federal government or a corner bar. You can bet the same won’t be true for air handling.

once again we see that the GOP really are a bunch of toddlers willing to do anything no matter how harmful in an effort to ā€œown the libsā€

we’ve seen it with environmental regulation, vaccines and now smoking. Im surprised they havent pushed to put lead back in gasoline and paint…

Priorities.

This is exactly what this nonsense is all about.

Republicans are forcing you to smoke? That’s sick.

with second hand smoke they actually are…

Not if it’s a separate room, try staying out of the smoking lounges you have no reason to enter. If it isn’t a separate room I will agree with you.

With Republican control, smoking has returned to the Cloakrooms, Capitol office spaces, the Speaker’s Lobby and other common spaces in the Capitol and office buildings, at least on the House side.

Ok, in that case, I am with you on opposing that.

We very much are poxxers lol.

I’m trying to quit. But it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.

My e-cig is getting a ton of use these days.

Smoking is a stupid habit.

I regret I ever started.

Because quitting is EXTREMELY hard. I dropped my whisky problem almost overnight four years ago. But cigarettes? This is my sixth time trying to quit.

I can relate. I make it a rule to live without regret. But I very much regret taking up smoking.

Nobody in this thread suggested smoking was a good idea as far as I know.

Get help. Don’t try to do it alone.

I’d be happy with putting lead into left wing rioters and looters.

Vaping worked for me. Tried everything else before that with no success.
