I have a longtime close personal friend that lives in Nashville. Not the city proper but the outskirts. He’s in the music business and is a “wine tasting TDS infected liberal” along with his circle of friends there. We agreed long ago to not discuss politics with our group of friends so as to keep our friendships intact. He rarely if ever posts on FB. I caught one of his posts recently it said: “Don’t be distracted, release the Epstein files”.
IF he voted I’m betting it wasn’t for Van Epps.

Dems were pretty socialist prior to Jimmy Carter getting crushed by Reagan in 1980. Then they were pretty much corporate Democrats until Obama started their newest left turn.

I’m not sure what’s wrong with a lot of the people in that city.
I used to have an Uncle who lived there (since passed) who was very conservative but he was greatly outnumbered.
Obama was a corporatist president. There is not a single policy of his that wasn’t at its core a gift to corporations. Be it the Detroit bailouts, Obamacare etc.
I think he continued Clinton’s corporatism. No matter how bad the right wanted to make him into a communist

That’s still not great news for the GOP for the midterms, where turnout is typically lower.
And like the Clintons the Obama’s net wealth exploded. And the Marxist AOC or the Somali brother marrying Islamo-pig from Minneapolis, their wealth increased hundred fold. Go figure

The Democratic National Committee took out $15 million in loans in October, according to a new filing with the Federal Election Commission submitted on Thursday.
The national party committee framed the line of credit as an early investment to boost its candidates in New Jersey and Virginia earlier this month, and help build up state parties ahead of next year’s midterms. But the need for a loan still puts the DNC in sharp contrast with its GOP counterpart, the Republican National Committee, which was sitting on $86 million at the end of September.
DNC Chair Ken Martin said the early investment was already helping the party win elections this month and position itself for what is to come.

About all that means is the lib voting block is highly motivated.
Good sign for next year, but not really a good sign overall.
One thing Trump has managed to do is unite the Republican party with one message, namely MAGA. Love it or hate it, that message has done more for the Republicans than even Ronald Reagan did In 8 years. Typically upon gaining a majority, Republicans immediately begin squabbling within their own ranks and then manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the next election cycle.
Let’s not get cocky and take 26 for granted. Despite what Democrats say about the races in VA, NJ and NY, their victories were not that surprising. They won in heavily blue states. Likewise, a Republican victory in a heavy Republican state should not be considered a bellwether either. If Republicans get lax and don’t turn out in 26, we see there is literally no level of scumbaggery their candidates could do that will keep Libs from voting for them. When a candidate says he would like to shoot his opponent and his opponents children in the head, and he wins, or when an outright Communist wins the mayorship of NY, or when a candidate says she hates the city she is running to represent and still gets votes, or when they elect trannies and America hating Radical Islamist, anti-Semitic Somali Muslims to Congress that shows what Republicans are up against- brain dead zombies, and apparently millions of them.
Never, ever underestimate the power of stupid or evil…
