Despite a booming economy and major wins on the domestic and international stage, a stunning new report from the Media Research Center found a whopping 92% of President Trump’s media coverage was overwhelmingly negative.
“Over the summer, the broadcast networks have continued to pound Donald Trump and his team with the most hostile coverage of a President in TV news history — 92 percent negative, vs. just eight percent positive,” writes the MRC.
The study found that the mainstream media’s nightly news coverage focused mainly on just five topics regarding President Trump; particularly the Russia investigation, immigration, Judge Brett Kavanaugh, North Korea, and US-Russian relations.
The 8% positive coverage was centered on the roaring economy under President Trump and the GOP-controlled Congress, with unemployment rates at the lowest levels since the 1960s and stock markets at an all-time high.
